Have doubts? We We have the answers.
Mediation is a confidential and voluntary procedure in which a neutral professional helps two or more parties find a solution to their conflict.
The mediation agreement is a private contract between the parties. For it to have executive force, it can be formalised in a public deed or judicially approved.
Mediation is a remarkably faster process. Its duration depends on the complexity of the case, but in most matters, it is resolved within a few sessions and, as a general rule, within a maximum period of three months, extendable only in exceptional circumstances.
This allows you to save time, stress and resources compared to a traditional judicial procedure.
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) methods are legally recognised procedures, such as mediation or arbitration, for resolving disputes outside of ordinary courts, in a more agile and specialised manner.
Of course! Avoid the strain of a long and costly trial with mediation. The agreement signed by the parties is ‘law between them’, binding and valid from the outset. And for greater assurance, it can be formalised in a public deed, which gives it the same legal force as a court judgment.
You gain clarity on the conflict and, often, parts of the problem are already resolved. The legal route always remains open.
